Education and Experience

• Previous experience working as a Cardiology Midlevel Provider or similar role preferred
• Proficient in performing cardiac procedures such as gastric lavage, botulinum toxin treatment, spinal tap, etc.
• Strong knowledge of cardiology conditions, treatments, and medications
• Experience in acute care settings such as the ER or critical care units
• Excellent triage skills to assess patient needs quickly and accurately
• Ability to ventilate patients when necessary
• Familiarity with research methodologies and ability to contribute to research studies 
•  Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in cardiology
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include the following, but are not limited to:

•  Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with the cardiology team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Perform procedures such as gastric lavage, botulinum toxin treatment, spinal tap, and other cardiology-related interventions
• Provide acute care for patients experiencing cardiac emergencies in the ER or other acute care settings
• Triage and prioritize patient needs based on severity of condition
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
• Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff
• Conduct research studies related to cardiology care and contribute to evidence-based practice

Summary

The coding specialist performs highly technical and specialized functions at Dickson Medical Associates. The employee reviews analyzes, and codes diagnostic and procedural information that supports Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance reimbursement. The primary function of this position is to perform ICD 10 CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding for reimbursement for various medical specialties within the organization. The coding function also ensures compliance with established coding guidelines, third-party reimbursement policies, and regulations. Communicates with Providers and staff. Participates in a team environment with open communication, trust, accountability, and mutual respect.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Abstracts all necessary information and assigns proper billing codes (ICD-10, CPT, & HCPCS), which most accurately describe each documented diagnosis, surgical procedure, and particular therapy or procedure according to established guidelines.
• Analyze provider documentation to ensure the appropriate Evaluation and management (E & M) levels are assigned using the correct CPT code.
• Communication with providers and staff to encourage appropriate coding and documentation practices
• Serves as a resource and works with other business and clinical employees to resolve coding issues and questions.
• Consistently stays current with coding changes and mandates, communicating appropriately with other staff members, including providers.
• Performs any necessary coding-related training for staff and providers
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge:

• CPC or related certification is required. Expectation of continuing education to maintain certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred (or applicable work experience).
• Experience with multi-specialty coding is a plus.
• Experience with NextGen is a plus.

Under the direction of the Business Officer Manager, the Collections Clerk is responsible for handling the billing and collections for various providers and services. The Collections Clerk ensures that payments are received in a timely fashion and in an accurate manner. Education and Experience

Minimum requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalenAssociatees degree, preferred
• Two years prior of medical collections experience with a medical group
• Knowledge of medical practice billing/collection functions

• Must be proficient in computer relates skills

 We are seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our team. As a Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing diagnostic appointments for Cardiology regarding echocardiography, nuclear medicine, and lab testing. Essential Duties and Responsiblities

Duties include the following, but are not limited to:

• Schedule patient appointments using our electronic scheduling system
• Verify insurance pre-authorizations and collect co-pays
• Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide necessary instructions
• Assist with rescheduling or canceling appointments as needed

Minimum requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Completion of accredited nuclear medicine technician training program. Registered by ARRT, NMTCB, and a state license
• Knowledge of nuclear medicine technical principles, policies, procedures, patient safety procedures, and quality care standard
• Minimum one year of experience in nuclear medicine. Maintain continued education credits as per standards of ARRT
• Proficient in MS Office preferably in Excel and Word; ability to work with limited supervision; possess strong verbal communication skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail

• Prepares and injects radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Processes diagnostic imaging procedures and records radiopharmaceutical administration to patient.

• Performs quality assurance procedures on the equipment on a daily basis including daily/weekly surveys, wipe testing procedures as required.

• Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography ,OR
• Successful completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one than one year duration associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technologist.
• Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification. Proficient in MS Office preferably in Excel and Word;
• Ability to work with limited supervision; possess strong verbal communication skills, good organization skills and attention to detail.

Essential Job Responsibilities

1. In coordination with the Director of Clinical Services, oversees clinical nursing care, ensuring compliance with established regulations and standards including quality assurance, confidentiality, and medical record documentation.

2. Collaborates with director of nursing services on development and implementation of nursing department's mission, goals, policies, procedures, budget quality assurance plan, and work standards.

3. Provides direct supervision to nurses and subordinate staff, ensuring appropriate assessment and treatment of patient health.

4. Collaborates with providers and nursing staff, such as chart reviews and accurate and complete documentation and coding, providing technical support and staff education as necessary.

5. In coordination with the Director of Nursing, maintains high quality of care by nursing staff through continuous improvement of standards and protocols. Ensures all staff are trained in quality assurance/control requirements and meet these standards.

6. Creates and maintains schedules. Ensures adequate nursing coverage to meet clinical needs. 

Requirements

Education: Graduate from accredited LPN program

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience with progressively increasing management/operations experience with prior work related experience in health care, preferably in a Physician group environment. Three years of supervisory experience preferred.

Other: Current state LPN license & CPR certification
