DMA Promotes Scholarships
Cindy Lighthill, Executive Director of Dickson Medical Associates, recently announced that the physicians have agreed to extend educational scholarships to benefit the children of DMA fulltime and part-time employees for the second year in a row. The program, to be administered by the Goodlark Educational Foundation, will provide two $2,500 scholarships for the 2015-2016 school year to selected fulltime students working towards a four-year undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university. Recipients will be chosen based upon their scholastic record, honors and awards, activities, community and volunteer participation, letters of recommendation, essays, interviews and, to a lesser extent, financial need.
The deadline to apply is April 15, 2015. Applications can be obtained from the DMA Human Resources office, 127 Crestview Park Drive, Dickson, (615) 446-1350. For more information, please call the Goodlark Educational Foundation at (615) 446-9156. (Please note that the children of DMA providers are not eligible for this scholarship.)
