Occupational Medicine/Pre-Employment Physicals
Occupational Medicine is a specialty concentrating on the management, diagnosis and treatment of work-related diseases and injuries as well as the prevention of work-related diseases and injuries. Occupational Medicine physicians will also work hand-in-hand with Industry Management to promote health awareness for employees, their families and their community.
Pre-employment physical examinations will usually include one or more of the following:
- chest x-ray
- Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)
- laboratory tests
- drug screen
- examination by physician
After the test results are received and physician reviewed a baseline health status report will be provided to the employer.
