CT

The CT scanner produces images of the interior of the body, accurately showing the internal organs and structures. For example, an abdominal CT scan may be used to diagnose a tumor or follow its progress during a period of treatment. Accident victims can have their entire bodies scanned for interior bleeding or injury. It is capable of providing images of the interior of the human body within minutes.
